At the time of this report, the attack’s specifics were hazy, but the police said that it took place at the Craneburg Construction Company in Owo.

Owo New Attack By Gun Men
The state police command stated in a tweet that “there was a shooting incident tonight at CRANEBURG CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, Owo, Policemen are currently at the scene, victims have been brought to the hospital, and they are in stable circumstances.”
Governor Rotimi Akeredolu disputed with the Federal Government’s assertion that the attackers of the Catholic church were members of the Islamic State of West Africa Province (ISWAP).
Rauf Aregbesola, the minister of interior, told reporters after a National Security Council meeting at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, which was presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari, that the government had been able to identify the Owo attack’s perpetrators and had focused on the ISWAP terrorist group.
Along with Inspector-General of Police Alkali Baba Usman, the minister gave a briefing and stated that security agencies had been instructed to track down and prosecute the act’s perpetrators.
The minister claimed that the group’s goal was to incite ethnic and religious conflict among Nigerians. He emphasized that the attack had no ethnic motivations and urged Nigerians to band together to combat the terrorists.
