Angel Unigwe’s mother’s name is Ebele Unigwe, her mother is known for being a successful businesswoman and talent scout from Nigeria. She founded and leads Ebel’s Couture, a fashion brand, and also owns a chain of beauty salons.

Angel, along with her twin brother Buchi, was raised by Ebele as a single mother since she was 20 years old. Ebele is also involved in real estate in Lagos and runs The Angel Unigwe Foundation, which supports young girls and women in Nigeria.
