Ruger, of Jonzing World, goes hard once again on this new track titled “GIRLFRIEND” from the Second Wave Deluxe EP. Ruger sings with clever wordplay, “She claimed she knew I’d find a girlfriend, and so what?” in a song about flirting with all the girls in the globe.

On The Second Wave EP, Ruger reaffirms his reputation as a hitmaker. His continuous collaboration with veteran producer KukBeat is on full display on this track, which adheres to the formula that produced “Bounce.” The centerpiece and finale of the EP is “Dior,” in which the addictive percussion undercurrent serves as a clean canvas for Ruger’s distinctive wordplay and self-assurance.

The Second Wave demonstrates that, despite his short tenure in the music industry, Ruger, named after a tough pistol, is not prone to shooting blanks; the deluxe edition adds additional ammunition with “Girlfriend,” “WeWe,” and “Warning.”

KukBeatz produced the Afro-Reggae-Dancehall track “Girlfriend.” The track is from the deluxe version of Ruger’s Second Wave EP. Girlfriend Video was filmed in Lagos, and Boy Director did an excellent job of bringing Mile 2 to a beach so that Ruger could continue having great enjoyment. Watch!
